-concept
the shape & form(fold, see image below) of the brochure is based on the long shape of the bridge.And, the arrangement of type on inside page imitates the shape & texture of the bridge, too.

* From this assignment, I learned that follow reasons are important:
1. scale (some big, others small)
2. interactivity (connection of each element)
3.rhythm(movement)
4. positive/negative space
5. white space

(editorial design)

* The main purpose of editorial design is to help communication. Designers should make type visual and less to read.
* Keep text simple; headline, image and detail can make the design interesting.
*Things to improve in this design: the two articles have the same height and column widths which make unclear to readers. Too balanced, not interesting.
