VisCom II Note
(Please click on image for bigger, clear view)
-Redesign Logo for Landmark Theatre.
-Design stationary(business card, letterhead and envelop) for Landmark Theatre.
-Design poster, website and ticket for Landmark Theatre.
(from top to bottom)
1. business card
front- with logo
back- with info
2. letterhead
front- with logo and info
3. envelop
outside-with logo and info
inside- with pattern
back- with pattern
-Concept for Logo:
Since many of the theaters of Landmark are historical sites, the shape of my logo conveys the idea that history makes what this theater is today.
-Secondary graphic:
Lines radiating (Imitating the shape of the logo)
-Color system: from Pantone Coated
Because of the historical aspect, I choose the colors red/brown-ish.
-what I learned from this:
1. secondary graphic
2. color system
3. 4-column grid is the best
4. good and memorable logos are mostly geometric
-Poster:
The concept is literal. Since it is called Landmark, the festival will showcase movies that contain historical landmarks around the world. And, in order to fit the big concept, history, the festival will show classic movies. The stamp represents the landmarks in other countries.
-Application:
1. Ticket (front & back)
2. website
